tl;dr: Select a region using the mouse and click 'overlap' to generate
an icon that overlaps all images in the selected region. Zoom and Pan by holding the SHIFT key down.

What? This page shows 10,000 drawings of the Google Quickdraw game data for a
specific category (like banana, trains, ...). All images are positioned
such that that their closeness indicates similar content. You can explore
this space by selecting regions (clusters) of drawings and overlap all
images under your selection to see if a coherent pattern emerges.
How? We used the image data provided by Google and ran a machine learning
model (auto-encoder) to learn a dense representation (a vector) for each image.
This vectors are used in projection algorithms (PCA and t-SNE) to find good positions.
